During my todays 150km in 4h challenge I jumped onto my GGCC D group training ride, just with a TT bike 😁
We were riding on my favourite course in Watopia, the “Coast Crusher”.
David S. was leading and Sylvie was doing the sweeping job – good job mates 👍🏻

I was going on a average of around 234W during the 60min training ride. The leading group was going roughly the same pace. I could even bring some riders back to the leading group. Because of the layout of the course the TT bike has some benefits which made it easier for me staying with them or catching up to them again.
Usually a rider with a TT bike do need to push around 0,8W/kg more to stay with a group on street bikes, because of the drafting a TT bike rider can’t use.
Some riders were going for all the sprints for bringing the HR up a bit.
We did not have a mini-race as we do on our Saturday rides, but some riders were going quite fast. Let’s check out the finish line after 60minutes:

Thanks to all riders for coming and playing with us today.
