GGCC Tuesday Training Ride 02-01-2024

I was onto our GGCC D group training ride, just with a TT bike 😁
We were riding on my favourite UK course the “Greater London Flat”.
David S. was leading the troop today at around 2,0W/kg – good job mate 👍🏻

I was going on a average of around 3,5W/kg for the 60min training ride. The leading group was riding with my pace, mostly in my draft. Because of the layout of the course the TT bike has some benefits which made it a little “easier” for me leading them. Most of the time I pushed around 3,5W/kg, a little later around 3,2W/kg to go harder for the last 8 minutes.
Usually a rider with a TT bike do need to push around 0,8W/kg more to stay with a group on street bikes, because of the drafting a TT bike rider can’t use in a group.

We did not have a mini-race as we do on our Saturday rides, but some riders were going quite fast. Let’s check out the finish line after 60minutes:

Thanks to all riders for coming and riding with us today 👍🏻
