Today I was leading our GGCC team through the virtual streets of Innsbruck on the “Innsbruckring” on the Zwift riding platform. In total it was a four lap training ride with an optional full lap mini-race at the end. Thanks Roger and Ian for helping out today 👍🏻

Today we went three laps as a training ride where we had the challenge of going up the “Leg Snapper” and also the fast “Innsbruck Sprint”. Keeping the group together is even more challenging because of the downhill after the KOM.
Today we had Sarah Storey again with us which made the KOM as well as the mini- race quite spicy 👹

Let’s check the time table for the KOM, of course the best time was done during the mini-race:

While Sarah got the first KOM, Bruch and S. Passion got the other ones, good job 👍🏻

Also the sprinters could go strong on every lap, let’s check the times:

The start of the optional mini-race started at the lap banner, which was the fourth lab. After my GO GO GO we had a strong group right from the start. We were together as one group until the “Leg Snapper KOM”. The last meters of the KOM were the real start for our most powerful racers.
During the downhill we got some more smaller groups going strong towards the finish line. From some of the groups we had a good sprint to the finish line.
