Today I was leading our GGCC team through the virtual streets of Watopia on the Zwift riding platform, the “Tempus Fugit”. Thanks RogerB. for going in red and helping out today 👍🏻
As always we had some sprints and an optional mini-race at the end of the ride.
Thanks to Katie T. (Storey Racing) for coming and riding with us.

As always we started at a little lower pace for warming up the legs. After the first sprint we went up to a steady 2,8W/kg. Because of this flat course we had quite a good speed over all.
All the flat part was just for training purpose. Our sprinters could show their legs twice, and there was our optional mini-race as well.
Let’s check the result for the Fuego Flats:

Congrats to A. Lee for the sprint win with two good times 🏆 Also congrats to Katie T. for getting the bulls head jersey 🏆
After the sprints were done an dusted, we focused more on getting the legs ready for the long mini-race. But first there was the way towards the roundabout in the desert for going back onto the desert road. Turning the fence down to 2 sec our racers got their legs ready.
From the line for the “Fuego Flats Reverse”, around 9 km to go, I gave the GO GO GO for our racers. A little group went away right from the start. I had another group with me at a higher pace, some seconds behind the leading group.
Let’s check out the result for our mini-race:

Congrets to A. Lee 🥇, B. Wu 🥈 and G. Quiney 🥉 on the podium – good job 👍🏻
Thanks to all riders for coming and riding with us today.
