Today I was leading our GGCC team through the virtual streets of Watopia on the “Beach Island Loop” course on the Zwift riding platform. In total it was a three lap training ride with an optional mini-race at the end of the ride. Today we also had a good chatting on our Discord server 😀
Ian was helping out in the group – thank mate, good job 👍🏻

As always we started wit ha pace around 2,6 W/kg and went up a bit towards the sprint. After the sprint we went more around 2,8-3,0 W/kg, a little higher on the bumps. I tried going for a 195-205 W avg.
Over all we had quite a steady group, some were always close to the fence and just a few were a little behind.

From where we had 5km left to go I gave the GO GO GO for our optional minirace.
In general we stayed quite good together as one group with a little higher pace as before. From where we had a little left to the finish, some riders went a quite a good speed up to a breakaway. Below 1km left most of the main-group went at full speed towards the finish line. Of course there also was the challenge to catch up our red beacon.
