Today I was leading our GGCC team through the virtual streets of London on the Zwift riding platform. In total it was a three lap training ride. We were riding on my favorite UK course the “Greater London Flat”.
Thanks to Jam for going in red and Andrew for helping out today – good job 👍🏻

For the lead-in part we started at 2,6W/kg. After the lead-in I went at a solid 200W avg. at 71kg.
Before the first sprint, which is the end of the lead-in, I raised the power a little bit. Some sprinters tried already their legs for the first time. Our best time we got at the second sprint, third was similar.
Let’s check out who got the green jersey:

Congrats to B. Wu and J. Saetang for going in green 🏆
After the sprints were done we focused on our upcoming optional minirace. I went down with our pace to get a little relaxed before going hard.
As always from our beloved shopping building Harrods we started our optional mini-race. For a little we had a good group together. From the nice bump after the tunnel we got a little split of the group. Shortly after that some riders went for real. Following the racers we had a good second group going quite hard as well.
Let’s check out the results:

Congrats to B.Wu 🥇, A. Krupy 🥈 and M. Hofmann 🥉 for the podium.
For more details check out the results on Zwift Power.
Thanks to all rider for coming and having fun with us today.
thank you, Martin, I’ll bet the usual GGCC report out later today, based on this. Great ride, thank you for the lead and to Jam for the sweep.
